Honest Car Repair, Fixed Right the First Time

My Mechanic Automotive is a full-service auto repair shop on Freeman Street in Oceanside, run by Chris and Jim. Customers bring us everything from a strange engine noise to a failing wheel hub assembly, and we start by listening, diagnosing the problem correctly, and explaining it in plain terms before any work begins.

We know car trouble rarely happens at a convenient time. We have answered the phone on a Sunday to get a family back on the road for a holiday drive home, turned around a same-day fan assembly replacement, and fixed an air conditioning system fast enough for a trip the next morning. Whether you live in Oceanside or you are just passing through, we treat your repair like it matters.

Fair pricing is part of how we do business. When a job looks like it will cost more than it should, we would rather charge what the repair actually takes and earn the kind of trust that brings people back.
